ahahah! its been ages since i last blogged.
Taiwan then RED Camp.

It was a afternoon flight to Taipei.
Wuhao came to sent his parents and sis off.
Reached there arnd evening time and checked into TaoYuan's.
All i could say was that, the hotel was quite a turn off.
the whole bunch of us then went to the nearby foodstalls to try on local food.
the well known chicken culet from shin lin's, but in Taiwan, its like hundred times bigger compared to S'pore's ShinLin! and much cheaper!
and the stinking toufu's smells like some smell cmg from the drain.

Morning call was 6AM!
Had breakfast and headed to Yeh Liu for sightseeing.
The famous Empress-head like stone was there.
and thereafter, TAIPEI 101!
I got my PlayBoy shoes!
ahahahaha :DD
oh! and the fast food there, KFC Mcdonalds SubWay MosBurger, were all in chinese names.
so cute.

Then, Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall.
yea, the Nationalists' leader.
ahaha! i actually still do remember!
when i was there, i felt the presence of the History txtbook.
lol. thats so dramatic.
Then, we went to some sauna place ( pao wen juan), i supposed.
i didnt get to pao wen juan cause of some girly event.
Went to Fong Jia Nightmarket after that.

First of all.
I had a great 17th birthday!
Thank you lots and lots to all you wonderful people who made it wonderful.!
Birthday msgs, presents, ang baos and a big birthday cake!
but was quite upset that he dint wish me.
i waited for the whole day, but no avail.
Went to Fo Guang Shan.
And and and..
I forgot the names of the places.
hahah.
Then Toong Mao hotel to have dinner.
Big ice cream cake then arrived!

Han Shen shopping mall was next.

i think it was sightseeing?
then went up some mountains.
Had bian dang for lunch at Hua Lien.
the place which we went for lunch was famous for its rice!
Champion rice!

way to go, chewy rice!

and now i know the rice's not from Japan!
Thereafter, went to some village to watch A-Mei Tribe cultural dance.
[A-Mei Tribe had the largest population amongst the Taiwan's tribes]
We got to try on their dance!
gawd! funny.
Dinner was Seafood fiesta!
after dinner, on the way to the hotel, stopped at some fruit stalls and got some fruits!

Headed to Jiu Fen in the early morning.
Stopped at some places.
Reached there much later than lunch.
Walked around the streets and got lots of food to bring back S'pore!
Then, went to some museum
and visited the Shao Tribe in Taipei.
The Shao's Princess's pretty!

Had dinner at some hongkie restaurant.
Settled down in some hotel in Taipei
and headed down to XiMenDing!
dint have much mood to shop as it was raining, and we were supposed to be going ShinLin Night Market that night. Most cart shops selling local food and stuffs were not opened due to the rain!
RAH!
Had MangoIce and StrawberryIce at Three Siblings [San Xiong Mei] and it was a cold and rainy night though.
and FANTASTIC's the word for the Mango and Strawberry Ice!
zhen zhu[pearls] were given free of charge in large amount! and its tasty and chewy!
i love chewy food!

comparing to spore's bubble tea shops, add pearls, 30 cents in mini amt. plus its not as tasty as those there.

Went to some places to get those Umeya-like's stuffs,
Dry Mangoes, cuttlefish, prunes etc etc
I brought mushrooms back for grandma and mama[nai nai in cantonese]!

and headed down to XiMenDing around 11 plus a.m.
Had SnowIce at three siblings again!

Shopped around xi men ding
and had the famous Ah Zhong Noodles for lunch!

Then, went to this place with a very serious atmosphere that pervades there.
some place like a memorial hall to remember the death of the soldiers killed in some war.
there were soldiers guards standing outside,
2 at the gate, 2 at the hall.
those soldiers had to be standing for an hr before the next shift replaces them.
and they cant moved a single inch, even if it rains, some typoon strikes that place or if a insect bites/'tickles' them, they had to be still standing still.

Thereafter, headed to the airport to catch the evening flight.
Home Sweet Home, finally, around 11plus p.m.
get ready for next day's camp before nights out!
had the memories we had become history?I want things to go back.is this the end for us?pls tell me it is not this that you want it to be.
