Over the F1 week on 23-29 Sep, town was super packed. During the weekdays, i worked for 5days straight and i took 30 minutes more to get to kallang leisure park from dhoby gahut. The weekends, I went over to Baby's place and watched both qualifying rounds and the F1 Race itself. Baby said watching this F1 cars racing its not all about the drivers themselves, but the beauty of the F1 cars was engineered in such a amazing piece of thing, the enginneers behind this automation.
29th was our 7th month:)
the NSF boy got posted to ayer rajah camp, doing some automation for vehicle B, got to end work early. And i only need to work till 3pm:) plans for DHL Balloon was cancelled due to the rain!! traffic jams at suntec area and i took almost an hour to get to dhoby gahut from kallang. compared to the usual 20miuntes bus trip. road closure for F1 jammed the area was bad enough, still, the rain worsened the traffic situation.
took forever to reach plaza singapura, and took another forever to get tiramisu ingredients at carrefour to bake for hweehoon's birthday celebration later in the evening.
imagine i end work at 3pm and reached baby's place at around 645pm. RAHR. started baking tiramisu cause need to rush to sean's place for celebration. and also, tiramisu need around 2hours for setting. but i cut short the time and left baby's place at 830pm. so being the very lazy me to take the bus, i called hua to see can
long bang us on the way. ended up baby and me waited 20minutes for him. cause he was on the way coming down from yishun, fetching wendy and c.k.
in the end, we reached sean's place at 910pm. first thing was to wish giraffe hweehoon happy birthday, then, put the tiramisu in the fridge.
Was really great to see like more than a quarter of 5one2006 there:)
Baby and Shaun Ng were playing the soccer playstaion game. hilarious! i joined baby at the later match too. he choose a damn lousy team for me and he choose man-u for his team. of course i didnt score any goals cause i seriously have no idea how to use the controller. but i saved like at least 4 balls from scoring okay!
results was 5:0. lol! very obvious which score is mine.
didnt stay till 12midnight for hweehoon's birthday cause i have to work the next day. and baby need to report 7am at ayer rajah camp. so, i took out the tiramisu for them before leaving! hweeyee was doubting whether the tiramisu is edible anot. haha!
this is the 2nd time that baby and me have done tiramisu leh. at least have one time experience tiramisu making okay! :D
HUA and SEAN KUA was damn ons to be the guinea pigs(sean said it!) anyway, i was the first to taste this 2nd home made tiramisu. not bad as i thought cause we added rum this time. the tiramisu we did the first time didnt have rum cause we couldnt find at carrefour. we got the rum from paragon market place.
but i think this time round, not as nice as the first cause the tiramisu melted,
and the
Savoiardi biscuits was too soft. we should have let the tiramisu to set for at least two hours. and the temperature of the fridge plays an important role too. due to not-conditioned enviroment for 30minutes, and i should have put it in the freezer for at least 7minutes when at sean place instead of normal fridge compartment.
nevermind! next time better! :)
and that sums up our 7th month. Haha!
Bintan Getaway
It was an hour ferry ride to Bintan from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. which seems like forever due to the sea sickness. I felt uncomfortable during the ferry ride so i slept through half of the ride.
Chillax, carefree days in Bintan was great. Thank youss very much Baby!
Next trip, Hongkong! :D
