Mom talked to me yesterday and asked about us.
Asked me if I know what I need to expect or do if things between me and boyfriend goes on. (Which is obvious to the fact that I know what my choices are)
Nothing much, just that I didn't like the way she talked to me; talked in the sense of having doubts of my choice. And mentioned things like "When I convert, there will be a clash of our Chinese culture with the Muslim culture."
Told Sweetheart about it and he said something that almost made me cry in the office.
That Friends, families and even strangers will say unpleasant things along the way, and what matters most is that both of us will go through this together.
I'm just really glad that he is the one that is going through this with me, and no one else.
